Basically, I installed the game, it worked very slowly and I realised I needed a graphics card. I followed the Fx instructions and uninstalled it, however, I could find no information relating to the VGA part, which FX required me to set up prior to installing their card.

Do you know what motherboard you have installed? Usually the name and model number is on the board. Also when you first boot your machine up, it usually says on the top of the monitor, though it does go quickly.
