The narrator whispered throughout the whole series are some very softly. Other than that, the story was awesome! I was on the edge of my seat. Lyssa and Saber should be together. I know Elise endured hard times but did she have to do the opposite of everything she was told?

Made me cringe whenever she yet again did something totally off the chain; I loved Merrick; my kind of man. I believe this was the last story left from Kindred Tales and Brides of Kindred series and I must say this was a great series!

Both William and Mackenzie did a great job with narration. Hope Evangeline has enough imagination to add more books to the Kindred series because I just love Kindred men! I understand why the narrator whispers the internal thoughts of the characters but it gets very annoying, very quickly. Especially when his whispering gets quieter towards the end of the internal thoughts. I didn't notice it so much in the first part of the book, by the end I was gritting my teeth each time he did it.

Despite this, I did enjoy the book immensely. Had several moments where I just wanted to slap both Elise and Merrick in the back of the head to get them to open their eyes and just TALK to each other.

Love that all the characters from the previous books are still making appearances. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. I had to return the last book the narrator was horrible and basically ruined a good book for me, william martin did a fabulous job with this one, I really enjoyed the new world we got to visit, as well as the action, be warned this book has triggers of sexual abuse in the h's past not present it was heartbreaking but the H's love and understanding are exactly perfect thank you to the author for a wonderful read!

Half of them sound whiny and nasally. Otherwise he did well. I still enjoyed the story. This was an entertaining book, I really wish we could have spent more time exploring the alien worlds. But if you love the Kindred series than you will like the addition to the saga. The whispers of the mind was great although I missed the hum of the ship in the background.

The story is engaging. I imagined Elise being tougher since she was a lawyer, I still liked it. She wished fiercely for some bobby pins or anything else to tame it and pull it back, to make it lie down decently as it should. You really should have told me you were leaving Tampa. Unfortunately, it turned into an extended vacation. I just got back into town yesterday and imagine my surprise when I got the news.
